| Introduces basic skills in reading and speaking; includes elementary exercises in grammar
and composition. Special attention is given to developing aural comprehension. Foreign language
courses must be taken in sequence. Not suitable for heritage speakers. Prerequisites: RD30 or designated
placement test score as shown on current indicator chart; WR121 (may be taken concurrently). |

Spanish Conversation |
| Increases confidence and ability in listening, comprehension, and speaking Spanish; includes writing
assignments. Not suitable for heritage speakers. Prerequisite: SPAN103 or permission of instructor. |

Second Year Spanish I, II, III |
| Provides intensive oral and written exercises to increase accuracy and fluency in Spanish.
Foreign language classes must be taken in sequence. Not suitable for heritage speakers.
